How EcoMetrics works

Using EcoMetrics is super simple. Simply follow the below steps and in less than 10 minutes you will be tracking your digital marketing carbon impact.

Link the marketing tools you already use, including paid media, website analytics and email platforms. Setup is designed to be quick, so you can start building a clearer view of your marketing emissions without a long onboarding process.

EcoMetrics magic

EcoMetrics uses activity data from your connected platforms, such as impressions, clicks, sessions, sends and campaign activity. This helps you move beyond broad spend based estimates and report on what your marketing is actually doing.

The platform applies emissions factors to your marketing activity data to calculate the carbon impact of your campaigns, channels and platforms. Our methodology has been developed alongside Sheffield Hallam University and guided by the Global Media Sustainability Framework.
